Pros: For a mid-sized tech company, the work-life balance isn't bad at all. I usually hit my 40 hour weeks as a Software Engineer. The San Francisco office culture is pretty chill during core hours, which helps keep things sane.
Cons: Sometimes project deadlines mean late nights, especially during big release cycles. It's not a true 9-to-5 every single day, so don't expect zero overtime. There's definitely pressure sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scopes so engineers don't have to crunch as often. More predictability in project timelines would be great for everyone's well-being.
