Fantastic Work Flexibility for an EdTech SDR
Pros: I truly value the exceptional flexibility provided as a Sales Development Representative. Being able to work remotely from my home in the United Kingdom allows me to tailor my schedule, which has been fantastic for my personal life and work-life balance. It's rewarding to be part of the educational technology industry, knowing my role contributes to learning. The team environment within this software company is supportive, and management generally trusts us with a high degree of autonomy,
Cons: While the work flexibility is a major advantage, sometimes communication across our distributed teams can be a bit challenging, especially given varying time zones within our global EdTech operations. Additionally, I feel the career progression paths for Sales Development Representatives could be made more transparent and clearly defined. It's not always straightforward how to consistently move up or what specific metrics beyond immediate sales contribute most to long-term advancement.
Advice to Management: Continue to champion and foster the flexible work environment, as it's a huge asset. Focus on enhancing communication strategies for remote teams to ensure everyone stays aligned. Also, consider developing more explicit and detailed career progression frameworks for Sales Development Representatives to support their professional growth within the company.

Supportive Leadership in a Growing EdTech Environment
Pros: The leadership team at 3P Learning genuinely cares about our professional growth and provides good direction in the EdTech space. They encourage collaboration and offer a supportive work environment, making it a great place for an Account Manager to thrive in Perth.
Cons: Sometimes, internal communication regarding larger company-wide initiatives or shifts can be a bit slow to trickle down. This can occasionally impact alignment and might require more proactive checking from individual teams.
Advice to Management: Continue to prioritize transparent communication across all departments, especially during periods of change or growth within the educational technology sector. Regular check-ins can help ensure everyone feels informed and connected.

Decent place for ed-tech, but watch the hours
Pros: I really liked the team I worked with in the Sydney office; everyone was super supportive. The hybrid model definitely helped with commute times and gave me some flexibility during the week. Plus, we got free snacks, which is always a bonus.
Cons: Honestly, work-life balance for Content Creator roles can be tough during release cycles. Sometimes I was putting in 50+ hour weeks to hit deadlines. It felt like leadership didn't always get how much effort goes into developing new educational content.
Advice to Management: Please recognize the effort involved in content development and try to manage project scope better. Overtime shouldn't be the norm for Content Creator teams.
