At Code Camp, our mission is to inspire kids to get creative with technology.
Since being founded in 2013, Code Camp has grown into a business which now employs more than 20 permanent and 1,000 casual staff, and has inspired and taught more than 100,000 Australian school students to design and code apps, online games, digital worlds, and websites both after-school and during their school holidays.
And we've gone beyond coding, teaching a range of creative tech skills to empower kids to become creators, not just consumers: DJ Camp, Animation Camp, YouTube Creators, Drone Camp, Roblox Legends, Minecraft Engineers, Design Camp and so much more.

Pros: I really appreciate the strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous learning here. As a Lead Instructor, I felt supported by my peers and management, always able to bounce ideas off others. The work environment is incredibly positive, focusing on student success in the software development industry. There's good flexibility too, which is a huge plus for my work-life balance.
Cons: While the company culture is great, sometimes communication regarding new curriculum changes or program updates could be more streamlined, especially in our remote setup. There are periods of high workload, particularly when launching new cohorts, which can make things a bit intense. Career progression pathways could also be a bit clearer at times for instructors.
Advice to Management: Continue to foster the amazing company culture that makes Code Camp a great place to work. Focus on enhancing internal communication channels to ensure all remote teams are on the same page regarding new initiatives and program evolutions. This would help manage workload expectations better.
