The Electrical Engineer is a critical role within the HP Hybrid Solutions (Poly) team.  Working with a global design team, this position drives execution on all aspects of the electrical design of new videoconferencing products over multiple projects with outsourced development partners.  Central to the success of this role is the ability to drive execution at ODM vendors and interface with a multinational team to solve complex technical issues.  This individual should have experience driving aggressive schedules, reviewing complex electrical designs including providing technical guidance, working with vendors to resolve complex electrical problems using data-driven decision-making, and experience in delivering mass-produced electronic hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Leads multiple project teams of other electrical hardware engineers at outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of electrical hardware design and development for complex products, solutions, and platforms, including design, validation, tooling, and testing.

• Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.  This will be across multiple global locations, including the design architecture team that is based in the USA.

• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality.

• Provides domain-specific expertise and overall electrical/electronic hardware leadership to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.

• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects in the electrical hardware design organization.

• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.

• Typically 8+ years of experience, including at least 5 years of experience in developing mass-produced electrical hardware and 2-3 years of experience in leading system development activities.

Knowledge and Skills:

• High competency with electrical design tools and software packages.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in overall architecture of electronic hardware for products and solutions; experience with conferencing equipment (audio and/or video) is highly preferred.

• Must be proficient at designing and integrating electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms into an overall architecture to create high-value solutions.

• Evaluating and proposing forms of empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate component, circuit, and hardware designs and thermal/emissions management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in both English and Mandarin languages.

• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.

• Had experience of project management in system level will be preferred.

The Design Quality Engineer will provide leadership across the engineering organization for all quality initiatives.  This individual will create and manage quality management systems and represent quality throughout the product lifecycle from definition and development to qualification and release.

• Determine scope test requirements and plan within the framework of a program while collaborating with other functions.

• Perform reviews of product requirements and functional specification. 

• Conduct design reliability assessments, product quality assessment and execute in all phases of product life cycle including early design reliability assessments.

• Participate in development and/or revision of QA procedures, policies, and guidelines to obtain certification and ensure continued compliance to ISO9001.

• Develop, implement process for gathering quality metrics.

• Execute performance audits, inspections, quality reviews and root-cause analysis and Stop Orders as necessary.

• Contribute towards resolving supplier issues and device improvement recommendations.

• Drive Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), CVAA/VPAT, WEEE directive deliverables 

• Participate in design reviews, Create PART evaluation plans, Review of First Article documentation and approval.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of BS in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.

• 8+ Years of familiarity with new product development, or experiences.

• Strong Knowledge of QA processes and methods.

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and experience collaborating across organizations.

• Strong background in project management, development, and testing.

• Experience with DOE, FMEA, 8D reports, CAPA practices and ISO requirements support and implementation.

• Well-versed in product development lifecycle, processes, quality methodologies and able to recommend process improvements.

• Strong Written and Spoken English 90% proficiency.

• Available to travel internationally (US or other countries).

• Ability to adapt to new tools and systems quickly.

The Senior Hardware (HW) Validation Technical Program Manager (TPM) is a critical role within the HP Hybrid Solutions (Poly) team. This position requires a knowledgeable and experienced as HW Validation TPM, with responsibilities to include the delivery of the videoconferencing products qualification through the planning and execution of HP Poly Video Product HW functional test process, in order to meet customer requirements while ensuring the highest quality video products.  

The position will be responsible for working with a global design team to understanding the HW specification, developing project level of HW test strategy and test planning on videoconferencing products over multiple projects with outsourced development partners and providing ODM test execution oversight and direction, execution of test audit, support for critical issue characterization and debug, understanding and maintaining issue tracking through the appropriate records database, and tracking project qualification progress and status for the HP Hybrid Solutions (Poly) product development team and management. Central to the success of this role is the ability to drive execution at ODM vendors with aggressive schedules and interface with a multinational team to solve complex technical issues using data-driven decision-making, and experience in delivering mass-produced hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement test standards, processes, tools and methodologies (like test case, testers, test devices, test tools & planning/schedule) over multiple projects; partners with engineering teams to establish testing requirements and test plans with high level of testing competence. And this is a MUST.

• Communicate the testing status during whole development phase, like test progress, critical/blocked issues, resolutions and specific features with project system team or internal management team.

• Translate all requirements into executable daily operation with ODM project team; remote lead the project team and do knowledge transfer to them.

• Work cross-functionally with key partners to deliver product definition meeting feature, quality and user experience goals.

• Identify opportunities for optimization.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field; Electrical, Computer, Technology.

• 10+ years relevant work experience performing in a demanding/schedule driven R&D environment and test experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of hardware/firmware/software architecture,

• Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) HW validation methodology, processes, and test tools.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment, work within defined policies and practices, determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.

You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s HR support, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems, and integration with SaaS vendor applications. As an Application Consultant, you’ll assemble, implement and maintain flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the HR business and user base. You’ll be the Tech lead responsible for the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications.

How you'll succeed

• Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the application's technical integration.  Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions. Support various SaaS integration from SSO to file integrations, support Azure Data Factory.

• Strategic planning - Participate in multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.

• Leadership skills - Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.

[What the role is]

The Senior Geospatial Consultant is part of the Geospatial Services team driving geospatial capability building in Singapore. The team provides geospatial analytics, data fusion/conversion and training services with the objective to deepen geospatial capabilities in Singapore and in the Government.

[What you will be working on]

The Senior Geospatial Consultant will liaise and engage with organisations from the Healthcare, Social, Education sectors and Government Agencies to promote the mainstreaming of geospatial solutions and technologies in Singapore. [What we are looking for]
