RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement station format and programme strategies by reviewing listener trends and matching them with the broad directions approved by management.

The Quantum Engineering Programme (QEP) funds research and supports ecosystem building to bring quantum technologies to solve the challenges of end-users. Its work span quantum sensing, quantum communication and security and quantum computing. Launched in 2018, it supports translational research focused on industry challenges and initiatives to nurture a quantum ecosystem.

Coordinated nationally across various research organisations, it is supported by the National Research Foundation, Singapore and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore and hosted by the National University of Singapore.

Responsibilities
The Senior Manager / Manager for QEPO will:
1) Develop an understanding of the quantum companies priorities, market demand, industry needs for key sectors under the SNDE and MTC domains, aligned with national strategies/ plans for quantum.
2) Work alongside public research performers (i.e. IHLs and A*STAR RIs) in QEP quantum platforms with the relevant competencies and capabilities to address national and industry needs.
3) Understand and leverage I&E competencies and resources (e.g. funding initiatives and test-bedding /deployment opportunities) of various agencies to advance technology development and translation efforts for QEPO.

• Coach High Velocity Sales Managers to achieve assigned quota via a combination of renewal business and new customer acquisition.
• Coach High Velocity Sales Managers to develop unique, relevant and compelling business propositions in support of prospecting for new business and competitive displacement.
• Reinforce and monitor the use of customer centric benefit assessments.
• Effectively work with HR to drive and maintain a proactive recruiting strategy that identifies high quality talent in a timely manner. Evaluate talent against AspenTech competencies.
• Provide performance feedback on a regular basis that informs and motivates. This includes timely preparation and delivery of performance evaluations, goal-setting documents, informal “check-ins”, team meetings, etc.
• Overall ownership of the Deal Model process for assigned clients. This includes responsibility for proposals, contracts and pricing approval for licenses and professional services.
• Manage day-to-day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and effectively use Pre-Sales and Technical Support Resources.
• Manage to expected performance metrics, i.e., customer meetings per week, calls per day/week; activities per day/week
• Ensure timely and accurate input of required data into the CRM and time management systems.
• Accurately and timely completion of all reports and forecasts.

What You'll Need

• Minimum 10-15 years in sales function.
• 10+ years' experience in management.
• Consistent history of meeting/exceeding quota and pipeline expectation a must.
• Clear track record of leading a team to close large/complex sales opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate customer benefits through financial analysis.
• Demonstrated success at establishing and cultivating "C" level consultative relationships.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong business acumen.
• Self-discipline and motivation to produce individual and team results.
• Familiarity with Aspen or similar products highly desirable.
• Executive presence and demeanor with consultative/execution relationship building selling skills a must.
• Personal computer literacy including, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools (specifically Salesforce)
• A University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent).
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, result-focused, environment.

Job Description:

• To build the companies’ knowledge base and capability in:carbon project verification standards (Verra, Gold Standard, Plan Vivo, Puro.earth, etc) and how these technical requirements apply to global, regional and domestic regulations governing carbon markets which may have implications on our operations and/or carbon projects anticipating carbon market trends e.g changing standard/regulatory requirements, market demand and carbon credit pricing financial mechanisms e.g green/blue bonds
• To communicate the above to relevant internal groups, including senior company leaderships, producing materials as necessary
• Represent the company in alliance memberships and external networking engagements (conferences, meetings, etc) to gather information and build the company's presence within the market.
• Willing to travel as and when needed. Site visits to projects in remote areas may be required

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
• Prior experience/knowledge in carbon markets and corporate emissions reporting is a bonus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel modelling in particular)
• Some knowledge of geospatial analysis (GIS) will be useful
• Able to communicate and present ideas well
• A team player, able to work well with others
• Tenacious, with a can-do attitude
• Self-motivated and hold oneself and others accountable for a high standard of work
• Able to multitask and work under time pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities in an ambiguous environment
