Your new company
You will be working as an Administrative Assistant for a charity in the Glenmoriston area, that fosters the growth of the Scottish Highlands. We are seeking an individual who can work effectively in all situations and support the company's growth. The position is a full-time role of 35 hours per week, on a permanent basis. You will work on a rota, 5 days out of 7, weekend availability is required.
Your new role
Your new role will involve coordinating day-to-day operations, preparing documents, planning and coordinating meetings and liaising with external suppliers. Other duties will see you responsible for keeping systems updated, taking ticket bookings and associated payments, answering incoming telephone and email enquiries, and coordinating the office. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with the director and managers to help maintain the smooth running of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
What you need to succeed is an approachable and positive outlook. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team and unsupervised. We are looking for someone who is organised and adaptable, able to prioritise workload, and has a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A key requirement for this role is being computer and data literate, being able to use Google and MS Office software and learning how to use new systems. It is fundamental that the right candidate has a customer service background.
