Summary of Position:
Accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization including: •Indirect Operations (e.g., Office Supplies, Computers, Travel, Maintenance, Machine Parts, etc.) •Direct Operations (e.g., Raw Materials and Services for Manufacturing, Production or Construction; Products for Retail, etc.) Procurement processes include: •Product/Service Sourcing •Supplier Selection •Pricing/Terms Negotiation •Order Processing •Contract Administration •Supplier Performance Management •May include Strategic Sourcing
Key Responsibilities:
R&D Indirect Spend (services).
Execute category strategy.
Administrative tasks in support of category strategy.
Facilitate strategic contracting (MSA) process, under guidance of Category Manager (negotiation lead)
Manage contractual related issues with supplier where applicable.
Manage RFPs under guidance of Category Managers
Support over negotiation strategies
Procurement support for EUMDR PMCF program as required
Indirect Procurement Payment Term tracking – all categories**
Electronic “e-RFP” support
Productivity entry in ServiceNow
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are advantageous.
Experience requirement: Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager with a focus on clinical outsourcing services or R&D Indirect Services within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
Strong knowledge of clinical outsourcing/R&D indirect services best practices, supplier landscape, and industry regulations.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex data, market trends, and cost structures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Highly proficient in English.
Strong project management capabilities, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
Proficiency in procurement tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preference for individual with Clinical Outsourcing experience.
