• We are looking for an innovative Mechanical Design Engineer who is passionate about research, design, prototyping, and project management documentation for advanced automated machines
• As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing vision inspection equipment for various industries, especially for printed circuit board assembly and semiconductors
• You must support hardware-related customer requests, including troubleshooting and customization during benchmarking & site installation
• To achieve the purpose of quality improvement/cost down, you are required to initiate engineering change. Otherwise, you will conduct a feasibility study on equipment, components, and systems performance.

Your assignment

• Lead and manage a team of Interior Design co-workers and over all secure our uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation and home furnishing solutions in room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas.
• Be responsible for gathering and arrange co-worker team and the other stake holder for home visit interview, plan in secure time, cost, and quality throughout the work process. Overall secure the life at home has been apply into locally relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial home furnishing solutions that exceed customer expectations and reflect home furnishing the IKEA way.
• Actively support in the development of the department action plan with interior design initiatives that are focused on growing the business and support long-term profitability and execute agreed plans together with the Com&In team and other functions.
• Responsible of preparation for measuring performance interior design part /related functional review points to identify improvement areas and using the details follow up and learning to improve the team.
• Secure that interior designers team execute home furnishing solutions with high quality, simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency using global tools and best practices.
• Be responsible for the recruitment and competence development of Interior Design co-workers and secure successor planning by constantly searching for potential candidates.

The position of Product Development Intern sits comfortably in the Product Development team and the APAC regional headquarters based in Johor Bahru. And as a Product Development Intern you will be given full responsibility and accountability for a project from the beginning of your placement and you’ll have an opportunity to fully integrate and actually make a difference. You will work on your own research project related to recipe development in dairy and/or black coffee or improving brewing or product quality. In addition, you will be heavily supporting the activities of the team (organizing tastings and analyzing the results, lab scale experiments, recipe development, shelf-life analysis of some products, factory exposure by supporting trials).
During the placement, you will be exposed to the wider R&D community and potentially work with other functions (marketing, operations). Some local travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of assigned project(s) within the R & D department from the design and approach of the project up to the summary and recommendations based on findings.
• To present findings back to relevant stakeholders
• Planning and executing tests of various scale (e.g. benchtop, scale up) as appropriate, supporting Plant trial activities.
• Conduct sensory, physical and data analysis as part of support work
• Support and lead development projects with the support of line manager
• Collaborate and support with team members in day to day
