Full job description
- Managing design process from conception through to final styling.
- Developing new design concept, and collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.
- Experimenting with colors, fabrics and texture.
- Produce sketches, design and samples.
- Prepare cut patterns and sample
- Liaise with suppliers local and overseas for raising of samples, production, capacity booking delivery timing and etc
- Preparation of supportive documents and samples for seasonal presentation and photoshoot.
- Assist for team Marketing in photoshoot session (Work with Marketing team to see if the design is feasible)
- Act as an advisor to the company for fashion trend & style. (Observing fashion trends to predict designs for consumers)
Requirement
- Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma OR Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Textile/ Fashion/ Graphic Design/ Fashion Merchandising or similar experience.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Fashion Industry
- Computer required skill(s) : Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
- Artistic, able to do sketches by hand.
- Excellent design and conceptual skills.
- Excellent sense of style, color, texture and pattern.
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, overtime and work well under pressure. -Willing to travel
