Job Responsibilities:
o Monitor and maintain the internet, email and web security for entire organization.
o Track, monitor, analyze and resolve any vulnerability or security issue.
Monitor on new CVE and ensure affected systems are being patched accordingly.
o Respond and resolve any vulnerability or security incident that may arise.
Act as the point of contact on any security incidents to respond, isolate, remediate, or resolve the incident quickly.
o Ensure periodic testing of the organization’s network and systems to determine security violations and inefficiencies.
o Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and to adapt CIS Benchmarks to proactively safeguard any new emerging security risks.
o Manage user accounts and access controls.
o Develop, implement and maintain the IT and Cyber security frameworks, procedures and policies.
o Safeguard all network elements including but not limited to computer networks, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), internet connections, intranet, VPNs, VLANs, VoIP and other data communication systems.
o Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot network issues.
o Create user awareness with continuous education on Cybersecurity.
Key Skill Requirements:
o Proficiency in conducting regular vulnerability assessments of the systems to prevent any security incident.
o Awareness of the latest methods used by hackers and malicious elements to break into systems.
o Competency to use the available tools to discover any dubious movement in the network and system.
o Soft skills including effective verbal communication and advanced written with all levels in the company.
o Knowledge of cyber laws and compliance requirements as per the law of the land.
o Ability to conduct an in-depth analysis of computer networks and identify any vulnerabilities in the system. Attention to detail is a fundamental personality trait for this position and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Qualification and Experiences requirement:
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Information Security (IS) or equivalent education with work related experience.
o Minimum 5-8 years of prior relevant experience.
o Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements.
o Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data (e.g., Full-Packet Capture FPC), and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations.
o Experience with vulnerability scanning and monitoring solutions.
o Experience on Office365 and other Cloud Security (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
o Understanding of mobile technology and OS (e.g., Android, Huawei, iOS, Windows), VMware technology is a plus.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Primary responsibilities consist of conducting Master Data Management (MDM) operations per established global strategy across the Alcon division for assigned Franchise. MDM operations will consist of maintaining Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods Material Master within both SAP system and applicable legacy ERP environments, inclusive of applicable Manufacturing Master Data being activated as part of IRIS Manufacturing deployments.
Perform Master Data Management daily operations and central governance of ERP Material data to ensure high degree of data accuracy, consistency and completeness. The primary focus is to facilitate the Material Master set-up and changes in accordance with department standards and business rules during integration activities, global and regional product launches and all subsequent phases of the product life cycle.
Successfully resolve operational issues related to master data, such as out-of-sync conditions across systems, or resolve other applicable operational disruptions by performing proper root cause analysis and executing data and process remediations.
Provide SAP Material Master business process expertise to associates, business process owners within local Manufacturing sites and Supply Chain Hub. The Global Data Steward serves as a primary point of contact for local Data Stewards for the creation, activation and maintenance of SAP material master data utilizing Global Data Management standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute setup and maintenance of new material master setup and change requests in Alcon ERP systems to support manufacturing and supply chain product launch activities. Requires heavy interaction and coordination across manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders.
Perform daily Material Master Maintenance operations consisting of both global and local manufacturing and supply chain extensions, including process improvements, business rules development, managing ticketing systems and generation of metrics. Ensure that the Alcon business rules defined in the GDM Data Dictionary are applied.
Work closely with other business teams like Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Manufacturing to address and resolve master data issues in a timely manner.
Analyze large amounts of data to support ERP data validation / cleansing activities, operational and project-oriented, and contribute to governance process enhancement.
Maintain compliance with internal, and external controls standards and SOPs (i.e. Alcon Finance Controls Management, Alcan Profit Margin Reporting standards, and Alcon’s Global Master Data SOP).
Participate in Global Data Management (GDM) Monthly Data Steward meetings to understand and communicate new processes and standards to applicable local data stewards.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Science/Engineering. Masters Degree preferred
Fluency in English essential. Knowledge/Fluency of at
least one other language preferred
3 years in Master Data Management; Medical Device industry and SAP Master Data Management experience preferred
Good working skills with MS Office suite; Advance experience in advance MS Excel, MS Access and MS Visio preferred
3 years developing solutions to complex problems which may require some ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization precedents and policies
2 years interacting with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
