Job Description
As an IT Project Associate Director, you are responsible for:
- Accountable for overseeing OSS Resource Inventory applications, covering architecture, design, delivery, integration, testing, and support.
- Translates marketing/business requirements into cost-effective technical specifications and negotiates with vendors for solutions.
- Plays a strategic role in reducing costs and enhancing service quality through flexible and scalable solutions.
- Must thrive in a large, complex, and dynamic environment, possessing architecture skills and the ability to drive delivery of initiatives.
- Leads a team of solution designers and analysts, fostering engagement and alignment with the organisation's mission and corporate goals.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and collaboration skills, taking accountability for project success and achieving department KPIs.
- Engages with business stakeholders and vendors, focusing on outstanding customer experience and building trust across the IT organisation.
- Develops and executes a coherent OSS Resource Inventory delivery strategy to meet in-year objectives, ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Utilises professional knowledge and technical expertise to advise and guide customers and business partners.
- Develops sourcing strategies to maximise cost-effectiveness and retain IP in an outsourced environment.
- Maintains architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices, while managing strategic vendor relationships and alliances.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should possess at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, software, or computer engineering fields, or equivalent tertiary education, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience, preferably within the Telco industry.
