Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to work within a global organisation while being based in our Durban office?

MMR Research Worldwide is seeking a proactive, highly organised, and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our Global HR Team on a maternity cover contract. This is a varied and rewarding role that will support our HR colleagues in the UK and the Netherlands, helping to deliver a first-class HR service across our international business

Working across MMR Research Worldwide and our family of companies, including Huxly, Ideal Insight, and Together Agency, you will play a key role in supporting employees and HR processes across multiple countries, including the UK, US, China, Singapore, South Africa, Brazil, Colombia, India, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Thailand.

Based in our Umhlanga office, you will provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle while also supporting local office operations in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Global Support :

Offer letters ✉️ — Issue offer letters and recruitment documentation through our recruitment platform, Pinpoint.
Employee documentation 📄 — Prepare contracts, starter and leaver paperwork, and contractual changes.
HR records 🗂️ — Maintain accurate employee records and update our HR database.
Payroll support 💷 — Support payroll administration activities.
Internal communications 📰 — Collate HR updates and employee news for company‑wide communications and newsletters.
HR projects 📊 — Coordinate and support HR projects, initiatives and meetings.

South Africa Support :

Office administration 🗂️ — Support day‑to‑day administration of the Durban office, liaising with the serviced office provider and managing room bookings.
Wellbeing initiatives 🌿 — Play an active role in organising and supporting local wellbeing and social initiatives.
Local provider liaison 🤝 — Liaise with local providers and agencies relating to payroll, healthcare and employee benefits.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

HR administration experience 🗂️ — Previous experience in an HR Administration role.
Organisational skills 📅 — Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Attention to detail 🔍 — Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Task prioritisation ⚡ — Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Communication skills 💬 — Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Microsoft Office proficiency 💻 — Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Proactive mindset 🌟 — A proactive approach and willingness to support a wide variety of activities
