SUMMARY:
My client, based in the southern suburbs of Cape Town, is urgently looking for a
Data Engineer with extensive Databricks experience to join their dynamic organisation.
(MINIMUM 3 years in a similar role, non-negotiable.)
POSITION INFO:
Role: Manager: Data Engineer
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong experience with Azure Databricks
- Solid Python and SQL development skills
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms
- Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and optimization
- Ability to troubleshoot and improve pipeline performance
Must have an IT qualification and Microsoft Fabric is advantageous.
