SUMMARY:
We’re on the hunt for a seasoned
Perishable (export) Controller to join a highly successful team. This is a high-impact role where precision, speed, and customer service excellence come together to keep exports moving seamlessly.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare export customs and shipping documentation with accuracy.
- Manage weekly export files and ensure shipments meet airline cut-offs.
- Handle client requests professionally and provide timely updates.
- Coordinate perishable, general cargo, and DGR packaging with service providers.
- Oversee collections and deliveries with warehouse and logistics partners.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in perishable and general cargo or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of the airfreight industry.
- Strong computer literacy, including Excel and Shipshape.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Code 08 driver’s license and own transport.
