SUMMARY:
Hands-on CFO opportunity with a growing manufacturing business – Take strategic and operational ownership of a dynamic finance function.
POSITION INFO:
A market-leading manufacturing and production business, that is expanding its national footprint, is seeking a Chartered Accountant to join as the CFO. This role offers exposure to strategic development, cost optimisation, and operational decision-making, while leading and mentoring a high-performing finance team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the full finance function
- Drive strategic planning and commercial decision-making
- Manage change initiatives and process improvements
- Provide commercial finance insights to support operational performance
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification
- 8–10 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in manufacturing/production
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing large teams
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
