Job Description
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, system analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Python, with a focus on quality and performance.
Ensure the overall quality and delivery progress of the Back-end team.
Review and refactor code to improve code quality, maintainability, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when required.
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Mentor and support Junior Developers in technical and development-related tasks.
Contribute to technical discussions and lead the team to achieve project goals.
Required Skills And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong experience with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask; hands-on experience with FastAPI is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of software development principles, backend architecture, and design patterns.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
Good knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and gRPC.
Strong understanding of Git and Git-flow workflow.
Experience with Docker and other containerization technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.
Ability to work with programming languages other than Python, such as Java or PHP, is a plus.
Good ability to use AI tools effectively in software development and daily engineering tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Strong communication, mentoring, and technical leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support Junior Developers and lead the team when required.
Intermediate English communication skills.
Japanese language skills are a plus.
