Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Class 3 Driver located in Ubi Avenue. Our clients are wholesales and retail trade. You will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles (Drive 10FT & 12FT lorry - Manual) to deliver products to various retail outlets, with a focus on route planning to optimise efficiency and timely deliveries. The role includes loading and unloading products, verifying delivery instructions and quantities, and ensuring compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations. Regular vehicle inspections and prompt reporting of maintenance needs are required. Responsibilities

• Your main responsibility will be that of a Warehouse Assistant cum Driver.
• You will assist the warehouse supervisor in moving and packing stock, and keeping the warehouse clean and orderly.
• Assist in the offloading of containers when merchandise arrive.
• Assist in stock ins and stock-takes.
• Assist in picking stock for our department store retail outlets.
• You should be able to drive a class 3 or class 4 vehicle to send stocks to our retail outlets.

Remuneration:

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Logistic Driver cum Warehouse primary responsible to transport products from our warehouse to designated delivery points and ensuring the safe & efficient distribution of goods and support the efficient functioning of our warehouse by managing the storage, organizations, and distribution of products.

Safe Operation of Delivery Vehicles, Care and Maintenance

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

• Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized.

Deliver Schedule Adherence

Product Handing and Loading

• Handle goods with care to prevent damage during transportation.
• Load and unload goods onto/from the vehicle, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods.
• Ensure wine conditions are good, verify labels and confirm the stated volume of wine in, upon delivery.
• Assist in arranging and packing stocks.

Customer Service

• Interact professionally with customers and clients at delivery points.

Documentation and Records

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts, invoices, and any other required documentation.
• Submit delivery-related paperwork promptly and in accordance with company procedures.

Product Quality and Security

• Ensure the quality and security of wine products during transit, including temperature-sensitive products.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with delivered products.

Management, Organize & Maintenance

• Maintain accurate records of product quantities and locations in the warehouse.
• Conduct regular stock checks and updates to ensure product availability and avoid overstock or storage.
• Pick and pack products for customers and stores order accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare orders for delivery in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Organize and store wine products in the warehouse according to established procedures, ensuring efficient space utilization.
• Label and arrange wine inventory in a way that facilitates quick identification and easy access.

Receiving, Inspection, Shipping and Distribution

• Receive and inspect incoming wine shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Report any discrepancies, damage, or quality issues promptly.
• Coordinate the loading and uploading of delivery vehicles.

Safety and Compliance

• Comply with safety protocols, including the secure handling of alcohol products and adherence to applicable regulations.
• Follow company policies and guidelines for vehicle safety and security.

Requirements
