Job Summary
A rapidly expanding telecommunications firm is seeking a driven and meticulous Assistant Corporate Controller. This position involves supporting the lead controller by overseeing critical accounting functions, guiding monthly close cycles, managing audit procedures, and contributing to financial reporting. This high-visibility role offers substantial growth potential, aiming to prepare the incumbent for a future Controller position as the organization scales.
Job Duties
- Manage period-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
- Supervise and foster the professional growth of accounting personnel.
- Prepare and scrutinize financial statements, adhering to US GAAP.
- Coordinate annual audit activities and external auditor communications.
- Develop and enforce internal controls and enhance process efficiency.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams on strategic initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a CPA designation.
- Minimum of 6-10 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
