About The Job
We're looking for a
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale modern data platforms that power analytics and regulatory reporting. You will work on high-impact systems that aggregate data from multiple sources and transform it into actionable insights.
In this role, you'll own features end-to-end-from designing user experiences to building scalable backend services and data pipelines. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to large-scale engineering initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full stack applications for data platforms and reporting tools
- Develop backend services and APIs using Java (microservices architecture) and Python
- Build responsive front-end applications using Angular or React
- Design and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion and processing
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and scalability
- Participate in system design, technical planning, and code reviews
- Use modern development tools, including GenAI, to improve engineering productivity
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 7-8 years of experience in full stack software development
- Strong experience with Java and microservices architecture
- Experience building front-end applications with Angular or React
- Working knowledge of Python
- Experience designing and integrating APIs and backend systems
- Experience working with data platforms or data pipelines
- Ability to deliver end-to-end solutions from concept to production
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark
- Background in data engineering or large-scale data processing systems
- Familiarity with GenAI tools for software development
- Experience building systems for analytics, compliance, or regulatory reporting
Additional Information
- Technical screening (Java/Angular focus) is required as part of the submission process
- This role involves working on moderately complex engineering challenges and contributing to large-scale initiatives
- Hybrid collaboration with onsite presence in Charlotte, NC may be required
