About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Java Developer to join our onsite team in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, experience with modern frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Java applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
- Maintain clear documentation of system design, processes, and code.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 6 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with REST APIs, Microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with front-end technologies (Angular/React) for full-stack development.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
