Job Title: Backend Developer (Scala and Java)
Location: Look for local to Coppell, TX, NYC, San Ramon, CA
Exp: 8+ years
Job Description:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Scala and Java
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integrations
- Develop applications using the Play Framework
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS infrastructure
- Work with AWS services such as ECS, RDS, Aurora MySQL, VPCs, ALB, and ELB
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product managers
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
