Controller (Future CFO Track – ESOP Company)
We’re looking for a hands-on Controller to join our leadership team in a unique opportunity with a clear long-term path toward CFO.

What You’ll Do
- Lead monthly and annual financial reporting and close processes
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations in a lean department structure
- Support payroll, accounts payable, and employee onboarding processes as needed
- Lead commission accounting, reconciliations, and problem-solving for key manufacturer/vendor relationships
- Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and strategic initiatives
- Help strengthen processes, controls, and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Strong accounting and financial reporting background
- Advanced Excel skills
- Hands-on mindset with willingness to stay close to the details
- Problem-solving and analytical ability
- Experience in small-to-mid-sized or entrepreneurial environments preferred
- CPA or ESOP experience is a plus, but not required
