As a Java Developer, you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting critical backend systems. What's the Job?
- Develop and maintain scalable Java-based microservices within a microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot backend solutions.
- Utilize Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB to support core banking functionalities.
- Engage with legacy Java codebases to troubleshoot and optimize existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of strong Java development experience, including J2EE and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Experience with microservices architecture and container-based cloud environments like OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with databases such as MongoDB and messaging systems like Kafka.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub pipelines.
- Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot legacy Java codebases effectively.
