Description
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership for the accounting function, ensuring team members have clear accountability, well‑defined goals, and the tools needed to deliver accurate and efficient financial results. Support employee growth through ongoing coaching, training oversight, and performance evaluations.
- Develop, review, and interpret core financial statements and analytical reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and related data used for management reporting and business decisions.
- Compile and communicate financial results for internal stakeholders, contributing to recurring management meetings such as month‑end reviews, forecast discussions, P&L analyses, and company‑wide presentations.
- Manage audit coordination efforts by acting as a key liaison with external auditors, preparing schedules and supporting materials, and ensuring timely, complete, and accurate responses throughout the audit process.
- Oversee daily accounting activities to ensure financial transactions are properly executed, documented, and recorded in the general ledger in accordance with established standards and timelines.
- Lead external financial reporting to corporate or headquarters finance teams, ensuring deadlines are met, submissions are accurate, and issues are proactively identified and resolved.
