Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with hands-on ReactJS experience to join our team supporting Wells Fargo in New Jersey. This contract role requires a strong full-stack background in building scalable web applications, integrating front-end and back-end systems, and delivering high-quality code in a fast-paced financial services environment. Ideal candidates must be local to New Jersey for immediate onsite collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
- Build responsive user interfaces with ReactJS, including state management (Redux or Context API), hooks, and component libraries like Material-UI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end React components with Java microservices.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code quality through unit testing (JUnit, Jest) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
- Work on secure, scalable solutions adhering to Wells Fargo's compliance standards (e.g., data security, PCI-DSS).
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of professional experience in Java development with proven ReactJS expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Technical Skills
- Core: Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
- Front-End: ReactJS (advanced), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6+, Redux.
- Database: SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Tools: Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, AWS/Jenkins basics.
- Nice-to-Have: Microservices architecture, Kafka, Angular (secondary).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in banking/financial services projects.
- Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth, JWT).
