Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Flowable Developer with strong expertise in workflow automation, BPM solutions, and Java-based enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing business process workflows using
Flowable BPM, integrating APIs, and developing scalable microservices-based applications in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Automation & BPM Development
- Design and develop workflow automation solutions using Flowable BPM
- Build and implement BPMN-based business processes using Flowable
- Design workflow solutions using industry best practices and maintain technical ownership of delivery
- Build process automation solutions by enabling and integrating APIs through Flowable
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define, design, and implement approved workflow solutions
Application Development & Integration
- Develop and integrate enterprise applications using:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Microservices architecture
- Design and implement integrations with:
- REST APIs
- External enterprise systems
- Work with:
- Optimize database interactions and workflow performance
Testing, Troubleshooting & Support
- Troubleshoot workflow and application issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes
- Perform:
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT) prior to deployment
- Support:
- Workflow optimization
- Change management activities
- Production issue resolution
Documentation & Governance
- Create and maintain:
- Technical documentation
- Configuration documentation
- Process design documentation
- Technical design documents
- Maintain:
- Change logs
- Issue logs
- Project communication records
- Identify project risks/issues and communicate them to delivery/project managers
Cloud & DevOps Enablement
- Support cloud-native deployment and DevOps practices using:
- Collaborate with architects to define deployment roadmaps and release strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in software development / BPM workflow automation
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Flowable BPM (mandatory)
- Java
- Spring Boot
- BPMN
- Strong experience with:
- REST APIs
- Microservices architecture
- Workflow automation platforms
- Knowledge of:
- DMN
- CMMN
- Database performance optimization
- Experience with:
