Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Must have Mechanical or Electrical aptitude. Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical environment.
- Knowledge of AC and DC motor dismantling, stripping and re-assembling according to the manufacturers specification.
- Ability to use various mechanical tools, power tools and measuring tools.
- Lubrication of bearing. Installation/Removal of bearings.
- Perform measurements utilizing mechanical and electrical measuring instruments.
- Capable of learning and understanding coil and wiring interconnection diagrams.
- Keen ability to strictly follow documentation and identify and validate a large number of checkpoints during the assembly process.
- Basic mathematical capabilities with an understanding of sizes and tolerances.
- Able to follow written and verbal operating instructions.
Nice to have but not required as training will be provided.
- Capable of performing other mechanical and electrical electrical tests (Insulation Resistance, Hi-Pot, Surge, Resistance Test, Bar to Bar, Impedance Testing and Polarity Tests.
- Hydraulic presses and pullers, Cutting machines, Soldering and brazing, Washing and Drying Equipment
- Usage of Cranes and Usage of Forklift and Material handling equipment
- Working Knowledge of Curing Ovens
- Understanding of close tolerance finishing principles and proper torquing, and total indicator and run-out and alignment.
- Understanding of safety concepts including ISO 9001.
