The Role
• Lead a Platform Engineering Team with a focus on automation and security.
• Drive the planning, delivery, and operation of platform solutions.
• Evolve and maintain technology strategies and roadmaps for new and existing applications.
• Ensure platform adherence to design patterns, coding standards, and security requirements.
• Influence and negotiate strategy and roadmaps in planning exercises with cross-functional teams.
• Provide consultative services and security architecture design patterns for common platform components.
What You'll Need
• 6+ years of professional experience in software development and operations.
• 3-5 years of experience leading or managing large, complex systems or application development projects.
• 3-5 years of experience leading or managing small technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Deep understanding of DevOps engineering culture and associated technologies (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, Ansible, Terraform).
