Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications. Based in Columbus, OH, this role requires hands-on experience in building enterprise applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
- Design and implement scalable and secure backend systems.
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–8 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Hibernate/JPA.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular, React) is a plus.
