Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in SQL development or database programming
- Strong expertise in SQL (T-SQL / PL-SQL)
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
- Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing
- Hands-on experience in query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience working with large-scale datasets
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the banking or financial services domain
- Familiarity with data visualization/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Experience with shell or Python scripting
- Exposure to cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL)

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions supporting critical banking applications. The role involves working closely with business, application development, and data teams to ensure efficient data processing, reporting, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies
- Work with large datasets to support reporting, analytics, and business requirements
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions
- Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security standards are maintained
- Support ETL processes and data migrations
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices
- Document database designs, processes, and workflows
