Key Responsibilities
- Governance & Strategy: Create and implement agency-wide project governance policies.
- Team Leadership: Act as a senior mentor to a team of Project Managers, providing guidance and ensuring project health.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the administration of the project portfolio and report directly to the CIO and Executive leadership.
- Project Execution: Personally manage high-priority IT projects and lead requirements gathering for backlogged initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- IT Project Management: Minimum of 5 years of solid experience (Essential).
- Senior Leadership: Proven ability to lead PM teams and manage executive-level stakeholders.
- Governance Frameworks: Experience building project management methodologies and policies.
- IT Fluency: Deep understanding of the IT project lifecycle to effectively manage technical backlogs.
