In this high-impact role, you will lead the evolution of enterprise-scale cloud platforms, leveraging AWS or Azure to build high-availability systems that redefine customer service in the insurance sector. You’ll be the bridge between business strategy and technical execution, driving innovation through cloud-native patterns and sophisticated application integration frameworks.

The Role

• Lead the design and delivery of cloud-specific technical architectures using modern patterns for both cloud-native and migrated enterprise applications.

• Collaborate with Data, Security, and Identity Architects to define robust standards for application integration frameworks and secure cloud ecosystems.

• Act as a Lead Administrator for the cloud ecosystem, providing technical escalations and mentorship for Cloud Engineering teams during complex implementation phases.

• Develop and maintain reference architectures for high-volume delivery patterns, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability across the organization.

• Partner with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) to transform strategic business goals into actionable technology roadmaps and long-range capital plans.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience as a Lead Architect with a proven track record of implementing enterprise-scale, high-availability systems.

• 5+ years of deep expertise in Cloud technologies, specifically AWS or Azure, with a record of leading successful large-scale migrations or implementations.

• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and designing software architecture based on complex system specifications.

• Strong background in IT strategy development, technical architecture planning, and analyzing business risks within a financial services or insurance context.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, paired with excellent communication skills to influence executive stakeholders.
