Salary: £126,650 - £171,350 annual
A leading aerospace and defense organization is looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer - Developer. This role supports the Infrared Management Aid team in developing innovative mission planning and embedded software solutions for complex defense systems. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment to solve technical challenges using cutting-edge technologies.
What you'll be doing
• Develop and integrate software applications for embedded and simulated environments
• Design algorithms and software architectures for mission planning systems
• Lead junior engineers through the full software development life cycle
• Perform use case development and software requirement analysis
• Collaborate with technical leads and internal stakeholders on project milestones
What we're looking for
• Five or more years of professional experience programming in C++
• Three or more years of experience with multi-threaded development
• Three or more years of experience working within an Agile process
• Experience with CUDA C/C++, GPU architecture, or performance optimization
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain required security clearances and special access
