Position Overview
The
Controller will oversee all accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a hands-on
Controller who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
- Partner with operations to improve cost accounting and inventory management
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with regulations
- Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering internal growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
