We are seeking a
Senior Systems Analyst (Data-Focused) to join a growing data team working on modernizing a legacy financial platform. This role involves analyzing existing systems, identifying manual processes, and driving automation and data transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
SQL, ETL processes, and data analysis, along with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for automation and modernization
- Gather and document business and technical requirements
- Perform data analysis, data mapping, and validation
- Work on ETL processes and data pipelines
- Translate business needs into technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders
- Support data integration and system enhancements
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Help reduce manual processes through data-driven solutions
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst / Data Analyst / Data Engineer
- Strong experience in SQL (must-have)
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes / data pipelines
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with data warehouses (Snowflake, Oracle, AWS S3, etc.)
- Ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
