**Sr. Software Developer**
**Moon Township, Pennsylvania**
Job Duties
- Designing and developing web-based tools and applications to support Mortgage Connect's business and objectives using C#.NET, XML, ASP.Net MVC, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visual Studio.NET, GIT, GitHub, Android (Studio & SDK), JavaScript, and XCode;
- Working closely with Quality Assurance, Technical Architecture, and other members of development to ensure the success of new products, applications, and new versions of existing products;
- Working with new technology through all phases of the software development life cycle to produce and enhance scalable and robust software applications;
- Translating application requirements into robust, well designed technical solutions;
- Using Object Oriented Design & Development (OOD) techniques, performing Test Driven Development and carrying out Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD);
- Performing event-driven programming within multi-tiered Client/Server architectures;
- Carrying out database design, development, and programming;
- Performing Unit Testing, Functional Testing, ETL Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on software applications;
- Debugging software and fixing defects uncovered during the testing process;
- Working with application analysts or coordinators, test engineers, and technical writers to ensure the successful rollout of new applications or features;
- Providing mentorship to junior members of the Software Engineering team; and
- Working with Software Architects on implementation strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field (will accept 3 or 4 year Bachelor's Degrees) and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related role working in Agile and Waterfall environments and using C#.NET, XML, Visual Studio.NET, Team Foundation Server (TFS), GIT, GitHub, JavaScript, AngularJS, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, LINQ, WCF, SQL Server, Azure, Postman, Crystal Reports, and .NET Core;
- 5 years of experience with Object Oriented Design & Development (OOD), Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD); and
- 5 years of experience performing Unit Testing, Functional Testing, ETL Testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
