Overview
We are seeking a motivated and curious Software Development Intern with a strong foundation in programming and an interest in modern software development practices, including AI-assisted coding tools. This internship is ideal for a recent graduate or student who enjoys solving problems, learning quickly, and building clean, maintainable solutions in a collaborative environment. The intern will work closely with both technical teams and non-technical users to help translate business needs into practical software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with business users and team members to understand workflows, challenges, and desired outcomes.
- Assist in translating loosely defined requirements into functional software solutions through collaboration, iteration, and feedback.
- Support the development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software components using modern programming practices.
- Use intuitive, flow-based, and AI-assisted development techniques to improve productivity and solution quality.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product stakeholders to contribute to new features and enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Help document code, technical decisions, and development processes.
- Stay informed about emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in software engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of programming fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Basic experience with at least one programming language such as Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript.
- Interest in AI-assisted development, automation, and rapid prototyping.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to modern development frameworks, libraries, or tools.
- Internship, academic, or personal project experience that demonstrates coding ability.
