Perform precise manual soldering and touch‐up operations on SMT assemblies using soldering irons, hot‐air, reflow, and solder‐pot equipment.
Identify, classify, and remediate common solder defects (e.g., tombstoning, bridges, voids, insufficient wetting, solder balls).
Conduct visual inspections and utilize AOI systems to verify solder quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain and calibrate soldering tools, reflow ovens, and touch‐up equipment per client quality standards.
Document defect trends, corrective actions, and process improvements in accordance with client’s Quality Management System.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support new product introductions and continuous‐improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to all safety, ESD, and environmental protocols.
