Sterling Engineering is hiring a CNC Programmer / Operator for a growing, internationally backed manufacturer specializing in high-precision industrial machinery. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components on a 2023 HAAS VF3SSYT
- Develop, write, and edit CNC programs (G-code) for efficient production
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure quality standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC milling machines (HAAS experience a plus)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and drawings
- Strong experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Experience with G-code programming and CNC controls
