You should have many of the following attributes:
- M.S. in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (years of experience determines engineering position)
- Strong creative skills and technical background
- A keen focus on client satisfaction and responsiveness
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and follow through on responsibilities to meet project deadlines
- Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team setting
- Excellent analytical and research skills with a commitment to continuous learning
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP, STAAD.Pro, RAM Steel, ETABS, and/or SAFE (or equivalent), Enercalc, Tedds, and Concept
- Familiarity with design/build and comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements
- Proven experience working on all phases of construction documents
- Proficiency in the latest releases of Revit
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Bluebeam (a plus)
- Ability to travel if necessary (majority of work along the Wasatch Front)
- Ability to adapt in a manner consistent with your talent and proficiency
