Role Overview
We are seeking highly skilled Senior Python Developers to join our Core Trading and Risk Technology team. This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical expertise in proprietary banking ecosystems. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable applications within integrated front-to-back trading platforms.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years of professional Python experience and a proven track record of working within the specialized frameworks used by Tier-1 investment banks.
Core Responsibilities
Platform Engineering: Develop and enhance financial applications within Athena, SecDB, or Quartz environments.
Risk & Pricing: Build and maintain high-performance tools for real-time risk management, trade execution, and derivatives pricing.
System Architecture: Design robust, object-oriented Python code that integrates with global distributed databases and graph-based dependency frameworks.
Collaboration: Partner closely with Quants, Traders, and Stakeholders to translate complex financial requirements into technical solutions.
Optimization: Debug and optimize complex codebases to ensure low-latency performance and data consistency across the platform.
Mandatory Technical Requirements
Platform Experience: Direct, hands-on experience with at least one of the following proprietary banking frameworks is strictly required:
Athena (JP Morgan Chase)
SecDB (Goldman Sachs)
Quartz (Citi / Bank of America)
