Need basic understanding of materials used in process and how they are to be handled.

Must wear or use all required personal protective equipment.
Read, understand and adhere to rules and guidelines stated in the Employee Handbook.
Understand Quality Standards and be able to make reasonable judgments and decisions regarding quality issues.
Principal Responsibilities
Operate a forklift per established safety and work procedures including operator maintenance on the vehicle.
Load LTL and FTL trucks in a timely manor following shipping procedures.
Assist loading and help with proper banding, blocking, bracing and balancing.
Perform quality inspections on finished goods that assure proper product, size, quantity and packaging.
Weigh up coils and building products, write weights on tags and turn in tags to shipping office.
Properly store finished goods in warehouse.
Package material from the production lines in packaging area as required.
Pull material from inventory and get it ready for shipment.
Pull material from inventory to support production as required.
Pull moldings and other accessories and prepare them for shipment.
Assist with physical inventory and cycle count assignments as required.
Maintain the shipping warehouse – housekeeping, 5-S activity and organization to assure a safe work place.
Cross train as a Receiving Material Handler as to fill in for vacations.
Perform other assignments and projects as directed by your supervisor.
Ability to use various hand and power tools such as a nail gun, hammer, banding equipment, power saw and utility knife.
