About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Front-End Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing responsive, user-centric web interfaces that ensure a seamless user experience. While your primary focus will be on front-end development, familiarity with full-stack concepts and a willingness to leverage modern automation and AI tools are highly valued. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and project stakeholders to convert wireframes and design specifications into functional, scalable web applications. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and usability of healthcare IT solutions, supporting our mission to improve healthcare delivery for government programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience
- Strong command of JavaScript fundamentals and the jQuery library
- Expert-level knowledge of CSS, including preprocessors like SASS or LESS, and semantic HTML
- Deep understanding of mobile-first development principles
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development
- Experience with API development and RESTful Web Services
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a government background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C# (.NET) or Node.js for full-stack integration
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or integrating AI APIs into web interfaces
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Utilize jQuery and vanilla JavaScript to create engaging user experiences and handle complex DOM manipulations
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code compatible across various browsers and devices
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to transform wireframes into functional applications
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Design, implement, unit test, and document application code, including custom forms, workflows, and features
- Interpret and produce clear reports, requirements definitions, user stories, detailed design documents, and client correspondence
- Participate in software design and architecture discussions to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements
