Mainframe Developer | Hybrid

The Role
• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, IMS, and MQ Series.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated mainframe application development and deployment.
• Provide comprehensive production support, including monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Utilize middleware technologies for system integration and performance optimization.
• Analyze complex problems and recommend advanced programming solutions.
• Coach and mentor junior team members while working autonomously.
What You'll Need
• 5+ years of overall experience.
• 3+ years of in-depth experience with mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, IMS, and MQ Series.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security principles.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and mainframe batch scheduling tools (e.g., CA7, OPC/TWS).
• Proven experience with middleware technologies such as IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), or Apache Kafka.
• Experience with debug tools like Expeditor.
