A globally leading consumer device company is looking for Battery Software QA Engineer. In this role, you will help develop and execute tests for battery powered products, gather battery test metrics by monitoring automated setups and doing initial triage/analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the day-to-day operation of our automated testing labs
Assist the team with all the testing which includes manual and automation
Report, diagnose and debug test failures
Improve current processes and maintain documentation
Drive the creation of automation and analysis tools as the need arises
Analyze data and present to cross functional partner teams as the need arises
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience.
Bachelors, MS or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in QA/testing, Skills in writing and executing high quality test cases
Experience Writing Scripts (Python Preferred)
Strong working knowledge of UNIX-like operating systems
Ability to think creatively, problem solve, and innovate
A desire to learn battery technologies
Type: Contract
Duration: 9 months with extension
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (onsite)
Pay range: $ 44.00 - $ 59.00 (DOE)
