About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be an integral part of a fast-paced Agile DevOps team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level software solutions. Your responsibilities will include analyzing software requirements, architecting solutions, and performing full lifecycle development tasks such as coding, testing, and deployment.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting user interfaces, REST APIs, and data access layers, ensuring seamless integration and high performance. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of modern web and application development practices. As a full-time employee, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that meet the needs of our government clients, all while adhering to security and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience and certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Information Technology sector, focusing on development projects, DevSecOps, and application development.
- Must be a US citizen with an active Public Trust clearance or higher.
- Strong development and design experience (at least 1 year) deploying enterprise applications on AWS.
- Experience developing large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data applications within complex heterogeneous AWS environments.
- Proficiency with Java Spring Boot and JPA frameworks.
- Experience with frontend UI development using JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, React, Angular, or Vue.
- Hands-on experience developing data access layers with relational database schemas using JPA.
- Proficiency in full stack web development, including web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Experience working with Docker and Docker Compose environments.
- Ability to write automated tests, including unit, integration, functional, accessibility (508), performance, and end-to-end tests.
- Experience utilizing CI/CD tools for building, testing, securing, and deploying applications.
- Excellent communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an Agile DevOps team to develop, test, and deploy software solutions efficiently.
- Analyze software requirements and design scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of web-based applications and APIs.
- Develop and support user interfaces, RESTful APIs, and data access layers to ensure seamless integration.
- Ensure all software passes through and completes stages within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to best practices for secure development.
- Support deployment activities in cloud environments, primarily AWS, including microservices architectures.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to improve software quality and reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
