Job Title: Software Development Engineer
Job Description
Perform critical vulnerability exploitation analysis and mitigation while leading the migration of a legacy satellite ground station to a modern satellite ground station architecture. Utilize Python scripting, Ruby, and C++ to automate workflows, remediate security risks, and support system transition activities. Ensure operational continuity and security throughout the migration, including modernization and alignment with cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities

- Utilize Python scripting, Ruby, and C++ to automate workflows.
- Remediate security risks and support system transition activities.
- Ensure operational continuity and security throughout the migration process.
- Align systems with cloud-based infrastructure.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Python, Ruby, and C++.
- Experience with RESTful web services and architecture.
- Ability to perform unit testing and functional testing.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Functional testing experience is preferred over unit testing.
Work Environment
The work environment offers a hybrid or fully remote option for the right candidate, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The dress code is business casual to casual, and you will be working as part of a team. The role involves working on cutting-edge spatial intelligence and Earth-observation software that supports national security, disaster response, global mapping, and autonomous systems.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $90.00/hr.
