Akkodis is seeking a
Developer for a
Contract with a client in
Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will develop robust RAG pipelines and integrate agentic workflows with external tools, APIs, and production environments.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities Include
- Build, test, and deploy autonomous AI agents and multi‑agent systems, including designing prompt chains and implementing tool‑calling logic.
- Develop and optimize advanced RAG pipelines, ensuring high‑quality retrieval, minimal hallucinations, and efficient embedding/vector search performance.
- Integrate AI agents with internal systems and third‑party APIs to enable action‑taking capabilities beyond text generation.
- Diagnose and resolve AI performance issues such as latency, token usage, context management, and agent loop failures using tools like LangSmith or Arize.
- Document agent architectures, prompt templates, and reasoning workflows to support cross‑team knowledge sharing and iterative development.
- Build scalable AI application backends (Python/LangChain) with secure guardrails, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7 years of IT engineering experience, including strong hands-on Python development.
- Experience building autonomous agentic workflows, including multi-agent orchestration, tool‑calling, and memory‑based reasoning.
- Experience developing and scaling RAG and vector search infrastructures, including FAISS/PGVector, embedding pipelines, and advanced retrieval strategies.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $54.00 per hour
