Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer with a solid foundation in cloud technologies and automation. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to deepen their expertise in AWS, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation within a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent, reliable releases
- Support Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives (e.g., AWS CDK)
- Contribute to automation efforts to improve efficiency and scalability
- Manage and support AWS environments (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda)
- Ensure systems are stable, secure, and well-architected
- Monitor performance using tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog
- Troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for proactive improvement
- Partner with engineering teams to resolve environment and deployment challenges
- Maintain documentation and enhance operational processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or related roles
- Working knowledge of AWS core services
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts
- Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS CDK or other IaC tools
- Exposure to Docker or containerization
- Familiarity with Datadog or CloudWatch Logs Insights
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, routing)
- Experience in Agile environments
- Interest in cloud security and developer experience improvements
Compensation: $75,000-98,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
