Senior Network Cloud Engineer
Chicago, IL / Dallas, TX (3 days Hybrid)
We are looking for a
Network & Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable network infrastructures across on-premise and cloud environments.
The role involves
network governance, compliance, and security, along with hands-on experience in
routing, switching, firewalls, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). You will lead network projects, ensure adherence to frameworks like
NIST and COBIT, and support business continuity and risk management initiatives.
You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and auditors to maintain compliance, resolve complex issues, and deliver high-quality network solutions using
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Python).
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in network architecture, security, and cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and automation tools
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, COBIT)
- Experience with firewalls, DNS/IPAM, NAC, load balancing
- Ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps / Security)
- Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE)
- Experience in regulated environments and IT audits
